Living Box sideboard by Molteni
Living Box, design Vincent Van Duysen, who starting from a typically architectural project such as a building, a stage for concerts and conferences or a monumental space, reduces it in scale transforming it into a domestic object with peculiar characteristics and characterized by new uses.
Living Box is a rectangular, low, large container (230, 280, 330, 380) and without doors, in which the outside and inside contrast through the use of different materials. The exterior is characterized by a large support surface, where marbles and essences are used to decorate the surface through particular geometric arrangements of the materials used. Everything is enclosed in a frame, in iris and pewter, apparently thread-like when viewed from above, but which when viewed from the front transforms into a real thick profile that surrounds the internal compartment.
