Archibald bed by Poltrona Frau
Since its birth, the Archibald armchair has been a huge success for Poltrona Frau. Designer Jean-Marie Massaud managed to combine form and substance, achieving a perfect balance thanks to a comfortable and enveloping seat balanced by thin feet, for an elegant and slender overall effect.
Today an extended family, the Archibald line maintains its characteristic design elements: the ear of the armrest, folded like a shirt collar left slightly open, is the unexpected detail that gives character and lightness to the seats. The rich vertical drapery with free folds of the upholstery and the tone-on-tone or contrasting stitching along the edges or on the external surfaces further embellish the design of a versatile and refined collection, which summarizes the sense of contemporary luxury.
The Archibald bed is available in multiple sizes and with feet of different heights, painted black or covered in leather. The covering is entirely in Pelle Frau® with the back also in the Poltrona Frau Jacquard canvas version, useful when placed against the wall. The bed is designed to accommodate rest surfaces (fixed, manual, or electric) and mattresses of various sizes.
