Canadians George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, who have been active all-round in the world of architecture, design and graphics since 1980, design the modular sofa system Surf for Molteni&C, after making their debut with Dada in 2016 with the futuristic project Lisola. With their experience in the hospitality field and in exploring the nature of organic form far beyond the traditional approach, Yabu Pushelberg design seating with a sinuous course and great personality, free from formal constraints with high modularity and unexpected details. Ideal for residential projects or places dedicated to hospitality such as hotels or offices. Seating integrated with the base, with rounded shapes on which wrap-around, slightly protruding backrests rest, are the features that make Surf a design that is not only ergonomically perfect but also visually appealing.
