Seating system with elements, available in two depths to be combined together, with or without backrest and armrests of different shapes and functions, allowing a variety of compositions: corner, straight, island, with opposite seats. The units can be also used individually. The different units are assembled by means of linking plates which can easily be installed on the base frame. The covers, in fabric or leather, are completely removable. The internal frame is in steel and in differenciated density CFC free polyurethane foam. Padding in feather or polyester wadding.
Active since 1927, Cassina was one of the first Italian companies to focus on furniture research and innovation. It partnered with distinguished architects and designers to find new ways of designing and thus beginning industrial design in Italy as early as the 1950s. Cassina has always had a very precise identity aknowledged allover the world, due to the balance between technology and craftsmanship.
The Cassina collection "I grandi Maestri" began in 1964 with the collaboration of designers such as Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
