The project stems from the desire to create a contemporary yet essential product, highly refined in its aesthetic and technical details, which enhance all the mastery of woodworking so dear to Molteni&C.
The writing surface, positioned asymmetrically, with respect to the structure, has two trays carved directly into the surface itself, of which the central one has a leather covering. The rear part is characterized by a pronounced curvature of the wood that allows the housing of small drawers also covered in leather. The legs, made using a complex three-dimensional woodworking technique, are hollowed out on three sides. The result is a product in balance between essentiality and elegance, a modern and linear product but at the same time refined and rich in fine cabinet making details..
